we are currentley restoring a former victorian beach hut to its former glory, it would make a beautifull summer house.It is the old changing hut for Frinton Lodge Hotel, Frinton-on-sea, Essex.and still has its original hand painted name tag.when finished it will have a slate roof and victorian cast iron guttering (all of which reclaimed) the over all measurement is 12ft2 by 8ft and the height to the apex is 9ft, this consists of an indoor area with the original box benches along either wall and victorian french doors leading to a veranda of the same size with wooden spindle hand rails and the same feature into the apex.it is being painted with period colours that are very simillar to its original paint work. should be ready in a couple of weeks. photos can be supplied.

 FOR SALE : PITCH PINE OPEN SEATING AREA. Are you refurbishing a pub or Restaurant ? This fabulous pitch pine open pulpit has since been dismantled but could easily be rebuilt to accommodate a variety of uses. It measure (approx) - front section 18' wide x sides 11'6" deep and is around 4'tall. It has previously had bench seating around the interior walls which could easily be replaced and has 2 swing doors on either side so therefore could make a good seating area for perhaps a restaurant or pub etc. It dates back to 1873 and the craftsmanship is really fabulous and some hidden inscriptions can be found inside the construction left by the Victorian carpenters. The pictures aren't that good sorry and they do not do it justice. We have recently reconstructed the pulpit to give an idea of what it looks like now ( see pictures ).Any queries ?
