the platform itself is comprised of coursed gritstone dressed walling stone and is capped with 2 featured dressed stone courses of 6" tall, that protrude from the wall before being capped with a 3ft coursed stone slab.
the platform runs approx. 280 linear feet and stands just over 4.ft" tall
this item is not to be broken for components and is offered to the buyer as one item, this is a unique opportunity to buy a piece of british railway history.

A large Derbyshire gritstone double door surround sympathetically salvaged from an early 1900s school.
The surround is sectional made up of 4 sectional uprights on both sides before meeting a large almost deco style 3 tiered stone lintel.
The stone work is very heavy set with a 20" recess into the building, the actual opening is 7ft tall and 5ft wide.
As you would expect the surround has some signs of wear due to its constant usage,
this none the less would look the part in any substantial period property, and would be a shame to break up to use for other purposes

These coping blocks came from my own front garden wall of a house dating from 1877. They are dark brown in colour in the following lengths, 12 x 2 ft. (60 Cm) including two moulded end pieces, 4 shorter lengths that have been cut, and 1 corner piece (not moulded but cemented together). There is some damage commensurate with their age.
