 FOR SALE : MAGNIFICENT PORTLAND ROTUNDA A magnificent rotunda constructed of Portland Stone dated 1907, in very good condition with wonderful patination. This piece was originally a Victorian folly to disguise Gosport Water Company's pumping station at Soberton, Hampshire, England.
Constructed in Portland Stone, the rusticated or boasted face stonework and planted colonnade support the doomed roof. Carved text around the Rotunda reads 'Gosport Waterworks Company Reservoir, Shedfield, 1907'. Ideal for a grand garden vista or simple folly. As a wedding chapel such as in Stourbridge's landscaped gardens. Alternatively the rotunda could be converted as a camera obscura or viewing point.
The local authorities initially tried to prevent removal by obtaining listed status on the building.
The process failed and it is now available. It has been reconstructed for viewing at MASCo Walcot's Minchinhampton yard. The name and title could be dressed out if required.

 FOR SALE : RECLAIMED SANDSTONE RAILWAY PLATFORM EDGINGS We have just aquired this fabulous batch of reclaimed sandstone flags. These were used at a Shropshire railway station, as platform edgings.
They all have a bull-nosed front edge as can be seen from the photos, and some have been scored on the face to provide a non-slip surface.
Each slab measures approx 3" thick and 760mm wide. The lengths are random, and vary from 600mm to 1200mm.
As can be seen from the photos, they are in exceptional condition, and could be used for a variety of purposes, such as wall copings or flooring, or as their original purpose, as platform edgings on a railway restoration project.

 FOR SALE : TERRACOTTA EGG AND DART BRICK DETAILING We have just finished building our own Victorian style house and these are some of the feature bricks we have left over.
We searched for months to find some original imperial size, terracotta egg and dart bricks in good condition and had to buy more than we needed to get the ones we wanted. All 33 bricks are in very good condition for their age and look great once in position.
We also have 2 corner details, which are extremely hard to come by and again are in good condition.
Please note that all of the bricks will clean up nicely with a power washer. Price : £4 each
