 FOR SALE : RECLAIMED CAST IRON RADIATORS-DUTCHESS I have a large quantity of reclaimed cast iron radiators in stock.These can be sold as seen or fully or partly refurbished.This includes removing old bushes ready for new ones to be plumbed,flushing through the radiators,pressure testing,removing old paint and priming.
The ones shown here are single column or dutchess as the trade are calling them.Approx 1920's these are the slimmer version of the double column or princess.In reality there are several versions of this type of radiator,all very similar.

 FOR SALE : CAST IRON RAINWATER HOPPER HEADS for sale
rainwater goods
cast Iron rainwater hoppers to fit 3 inch downpipe. as pictured, I have three of the chunky square design, and three of the classic fluted design. they are all in great condition, with ears intact, and are currently painted black (except for one, which is white) but they will need repainting. local delivery, plus shotblasting and/or repainting available for extra charge. I also have two other hoppers, (not pictured) one is a later example of a fluted hopper, from the 1950's I think, and is a little less ornate but still very nice. plus another square one, which unfortunately has no ears. but it is still possible to easily attach it to a wall, and you wouldnt really be able to tell.
cast iron hopper heads are so much better than plastic in many ways, being far more sturdy and hardwearing, but also look so much better. there is no comparison between a faded, boring plastic hopper, and one of the beautiful cast iron fluted ones pictured here. cast iron hopper heads add alot of charcter to a house and are inkeeping with old buildings.

Cast iron downpipe in both 3 inch and 4 inch diameter. theres 40 feet of the 3 inch diameter and 46 feet of the 4 inch diameter.
its mostly in 6 foot lengths, but theres a variety of other lengths. I also have a few junctions available in both sizes, aswell as a variety of hoppers (pics and description of hoppers on another entry)
its all in great condition with all of the ears intact, and is currently painted black, but will need a repaint.

so much better than plastic downpipe in many ways, cast iron adds alot of character to a house and is much sturdier and more hardwearing than its modern counterpart.

There is a pair of lower ones from a Victorian house in Southport.
These are 26.5"/675mm high by 36.25"/920mm wide(12 sections) by 11"/280mm deep.
And a set of six from a church in Wigan 32.5"/830mm high by 24"/610mm wide (8 sections) by 11"/280mm deep.(see pic with gold coloured radiators)

 FOR SALE : PAIR OF DECORATIVE CAST IRON CHURCH RADIATORS A pair of decorative church cast iron radiators.Horizontal cast iron tubes ending in decorative columns with repeating circular floral motif to the three sides.Run on water not steam.
Have come from a working system in a church at Southport.
Dimensions in inches: 33.25 high by 4.5 depth by 58.75 and 82.5 lengths.Pipes are approx 2.25 in diameter and the columns are 4.5 square.
Each has a bleeder valve and threaded inlet and outlet which will take a modern bush fitting.I will sell pressure tested, and with appropriate bushes if required.I will also sell reprimed and coated if required.
