 FOR SALE : VINTAGE STAINLESS STEEL TOP BEECH KITCHEN TABLE. From the kitchen of a local school. Solid beech frame and stainless steel top above a frieze with one false drawer. Standing on sturdy square legs. The shelf underneath is made from solid beech slats.
Would be ideal in a kitchen as an island or preparation table etc.
Condition Report: Solid and original throughout. Some use marks and scuffs but nothing that detracts from the quality of the item. The false drawer would probably have been a working drawer at some time.

a 1960s original "belmont" dentists chair , reclaimed from a strip out of a small independant dentists in the derbyshire area. this looks as it has been re-upholstered recently and is in great condition.
it fully reclines to about 3/4 and is on the whole pretty comfy. there is a little bit of damage on one of the arms that looks to have been once repaired but could do with looking at.
this could be used in a variety of ways. in the home as a novel relaxing chair or even in a pub (ask gazza).
its not really our type of salvage but it seems a real shame to skip it - if your intrested in this please contact us as it will end up on ebay soon.

 FOR SALE : C. 1850 35' X 55' HAND-HEWN WHITE PINE TIMBER BARN This inspiring timber frame threshing barn measuring 35' x 55' was originally built c.1850 near Toronto, Ontario and was constructed entirely from old growth White pine timbers. All large timbers are "hand-hewn" and exhibit a beautiful aged patina. A large graceful "swing beam" spans the width of the structure and is a truly unique feature of this early barn. The top plates supporting the foot of the rafters are single timbers incredibily stretching the entire 55' length of the building. Smaller timbers and diagonal knee braces exhibit vertical saw marks and would have been milled at a local water powered sawmill. All joinery is traditional mortise and tenon. Square nails secured the rafters, roof and siding boards.
The entire frame was professionally documented and photographed prior to disassembly. All timbers have been catalogued for identification using stamped metal tags. This structure is ideal for conversion to commercial or residential space. Accurately dimensioned drawings and professional structural engineers stamp are available. Professional design, construction and installation also available.

Something of a one off and no doubt produced by one of the leading manufacturers of the period, this table boasts both style, quality and at a whopping 8 metres in length which is all covered in highly decorative matching Brazilian rosewood,this table is longer than long and dressed to kill. Consisting of six individual pieces, the table does also offer a certain versatility, the semi circular ends, when not in use, re- presenting themselves as console tables for instance.
In original condition, the chrome is all good whilst the timber of the rectangular sections is in need of re-polishing / lacquering and restoration. The four sections having been separated from the ends for a number of years, do show signs of abuse. Patient, nit-picky restoration required, However, standing unrivaled with so many unique factors, the rare, now licensed Brazilian cuts of rosewood, cutting edge vintage styling, size, rosewood & chrome combination..this table should be viewed as a unique investment and decorative opportunity.
